Receptionist / Office Assistant, NL/E, 40 h/wk, Amsterdam (ingevuld)

On behalf of our client in international logistics in Amsterdam we are looking for a full-time Receptionist / Office Assistant.

Duties:

  •  Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Arrange travel and accommodations
  • Expenses declaration for some employees of the office
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning
  • Courier shipments
  • Organize meetings that take place in the office including catering, preparing meeting room prior to the meeting
  • Office management related tasks as:
    1. ensure that the shared areas of the office are kept in order ( break area, flex offices, meeting rooms)
    2. Contact maintenance for various repairs
    3. Welcome package for the new employees

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional and positive attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize
  • Customer service attitude
  • Attention to details
  • No 9 to 5 mentality
  • High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

What does our client offer?

Initially you will get a temp contract through us. Our client intends to hire the right candidate though after several months. Salary around € 2,200 gross per month on a 40 hour week basis, and depending on skills and working experience.
